Review - Art of Shaving's Lemon Essential Oil Shaving Cream

The Art of Shaving Shaving Cream softens and lifts the beard for a close and comfortable shave, and protects the skin from irritation and razor burn. Rich with glycerin, coconut oil and essential oils, the Shaving Cream leaves your skin smooth and moisturized. It can be lathered up with a Shaving Brush or with fingers. $22

I have been using this product since May of "07" and it is absolutely the best shaving product line that I have ever used. I don't like strong smelling products of any kind because they bother my sinuses. I also have very sensitive skin. Art of shaving products smell good enough to eat. The fresh lemon scent is very pleasant and it doesn't irritate my sinuses or my skin whatsoever. Another big plus is that the large tub that it comes in seems almost endless because a little goes such a long way.

Shaving has always been a hassle for me because in the past products have left my neck looking like roadkill but not this stuff. The Art of Shaving cream moisturizes your skin and causes the razor to actually glide over it without drag. Without all of the usual razor burn I had come to expect, I now find myself looking forward to shaving. Hell everyone knows that the ladies really dig a guy with a close shave.

The Art of Shaving also makes an aftershave gel that is out of this world. They come in a variety of scents that match the shaving creams that they offer. My recommendation is that you choose the scent that you like and buy both. Don't be surprised if you end up recommending it to someone else after using it.
