Sooooo I wasn't expecting much out of this top coat. I am personally really hard on nail polish. Aaaannnnddd I have very little patience. It's not a great combination for manicuring yourself I will tell you! So I had little faith as I started applying this polish. I used it with Deborah Lippmann My Romance nail polish, I just adore the color! Generally, however, I hate how it wears. I'll usually get a day tops out of my manicure before it either turns orange or starts chipping. Within 30 seconds of my applying this top coat it was dry, and I applied it while the color was still tacky! Love it! This would be a great top coat even if it didn't wear beautifully for more than a week. It didn't start chipping like I said for more than a week and it didn't change colors at all! I was more than pleased with this Speed Dry Top Coat and have not only been wearing it exclusively since I got it, but I will definitely repurchase! Way to go Nutra Nail!

I cannot tell you how psyched I was when I found out from Kat at Essie they were releasing a matte topcoat! I had a bottle of matte topcoat in the 80's that I was still rhapsodizing about. I thought I would never see it's like again. Then Essie launches "Matte About You" and all my un-shiny nail dreams came true. I hadn't seen anything matte for nails in a long time, but now it seems everyone is coming out with matte nail polishes, however, the beauty of Matte About You is that you can turn any polish matte in seconds. Bored of what was your favorite color? Give it a whole new vibe with this product.

I have to tell you, my first experience with this product was seriously disappointing. I used it as a normal topcoat and it chipped the same day. Then I got the idea to put on an ordinary topcoat followed by Matte About You. I know, I know, that's not what the directions say. But who cares if it works? And it did work like a charm and stayed in place without a chip for several days. And needless to say, I'm totally head-over-heels about the look. As the season wears on I've been hearing that all of the matte finish nail polishes from other companies chip like a porcelain cup as well, but if you follow the instructions I just gave you, you can have your cake and eat it too. If you are looking for something a little different for Fall, this is a product that you should definitely add to your arsenal.

I have used many topcoats and had pretty good success with them. This Nailene Acrylic Strong topcoat does an incredible job of protecting the polish from chipping or peeling. I used in on top of some of my less expensive polishes and found that they really lasted as long as the better polishes with this topcoat. Then I used it on top of Nailene French Manicure as I really liked that but had a problem with breaking, chipping, peeling, etc. Once I applied this particular topcoat all those problems seem to dissolve and that makes the French Manicure much more user friendly. I have had very good experience with all the Nailene products that I have used and think you will also.

Deedlejuse Says: I agree with Sheba on this Topcoat. For a very affordable price you will breath some (longer) life into your least expensive nail polishes. When I (the queen of not being able to wear nail polish) applied this top coat to my favorite polishes I found that I had about four or five days chip free, while normally I would have gotten maybe three. It applies evenly and pretty thinly, which I think is a definite bonus. It was also fast drying, which for me is an absolutly necessary feature to any nail polish! All in all everything I have tried from Nailine has been affordable, and very solid. Perhaps not top of the line, but solid. I would say anything you want to try from this will be good, and it won't break the bank!

Amanda S. Says: Wow. Why did I wait so long to try this? I have a FAVORITE color of super cheapo nail polish, I can't find an exact match for the color anywhere, and to my dismay, when I use it, it chips off within HOURS. I tried this topcoat and it lasted 5 days! (the 5th day was my own fault, I basically torture my hands!). This is definitely, seriously, undoubtedly the strongest top coat I have ever used. Others claim to work well, but the words don't pan out when they give up after a few days of abuse that I can dish out. I am going to stock up on this, it's amazing stuff.
