I am usually very tired during the weekdays because I have a two year old who loves to go to sleep at 1 am! Most of the time I am completely wiped out when I get home after work. One day last week, I was especially tired and I needed a little "Mommy Time". I decided to try the anti-stress mask/tonic. I think the best part of this mask, is the fact that its no fuss. You don't have to worry about putting too little or too much because it's already put together for you. The mask is in the shape of a face with a thin paper-like layer. This is a big time saver and a huge plus for me.
I got lost in 10 minutes of tingly, relaxing bliss. It felt so cool and nice on my skin. I felt relaxed and soothed. I love that this is free of a lot of allergens so I wasn't worried about putting this on my oh so sensitive skin. The end result, my face looked brighter, felt softer and I felt great!
Although the mask is free of many allergen causing ingredients, they still ask you to do a quick skin irritant test by applying some of the tonic on your underarm. I didn't see this.....it was there clear enough but I was just so eager to try it! Thankfully, I wasn't allergic! YAY! Also, they ask that you remove the piece that covers the lip and apply it to your nose. Again, didn't read that part. So I left it on my lips. Oddly enough, my lips felt softer and smoother afterward so I was happy!
I am very into this company. Best part ladies, go to the website and they let you sign up to have a chance to review new products and have an opportunity to win some as well! I can't wait to try some of the foot products!

Review- Youngblood Hi-Def Mineral Powder

Youngblood's Hi-Def Hydrating Mineral Perfecting Powder is a breakthrough in Hi-Def makeup. This innovative, multi-tasking formula keeps skin balanced by hydrating and refreshing skin, locking in needed moisture while naturally absorbing excess oil and mattifying shine. The high-performance, ultra sheer powder invisibly conceals imperfections for a perfect, camera-ready finish - whether you're going to the movies or starring in one.

I tried this powder in Warmth, a flattering blend of peach and gold that blended beautifully with my skin tone. My skin is pretty normal, with some oily patches in my T-zone, and this powder kept those areas shine free, and matte, but still gave my entire face a natural, healthy glow. If you're of a fair complexion you may want to opt for the translucent version, since I'm not sure the color of this powder will agree with you. Overall this mineral powder sets your makeup beautifully, giving the skin almost an air-brushed effect, while still feeling incredibly light. I've never used mineral makeup before, but I think I'll be making a permanent switch!

Review - Bella Bronze Chamomile & Goat's Milk Self-Tanner Face and Body

This creamy self-tanning blend from Bella Bronze is a delicious way to obtain a sunkissed glow for face and body. The streakless, easy-to-blend formula features moisturizing, soothing and nourishing extracts of golden chamomile, virgin olive oil, shea butter, goats milk and fig

In retrospect I might have done a bit more research before choosing this Bella Bronze Self Tanner. All in all I really liked it, although you can definitely tell that the lovely olive skin is not naturally mine. If you are not as pink skinned as I this will be your favorite companion. It doesn't streak, stink, or fade quickly. It builds really nicely, and any normal yellow toned lady will LOVE this self tanner. I did have one issue with streaking when I put it on relatively carelessly, so please take your time with the exfoliating and applying. I think if you are pink and white, as I am you probably have the same issue with self tanner not looking very natural. Its a fact of life for us with uber pale complexions. Otherwise this is a very good self tanner and for the price ($29) this tube is brilliant. I am pretty sure it will last you and entire summer, even if you applied every day (not that you will have to.) Anything is better than a real tan....but this is better than most!

Review- Senna HD Extreme Firming Radiant Makeup

This exceptional foundation gives your skin instant flawless HD quality as it firms the look of skin the tone, fills in lines and wrinkles, protects and hydrates. The exclusive MineraLumen-3 complex features advanced technology. HD Light Diffusing Pigments to reflect light away from blemishes, discolorations, redness and all flaws while giving a light, natural look.

I'm a totally committed liquid foundation user, so I wasn't a big fan of this dense, creamy formula. It is really thick, so much so that it was hard to blend, and when I was finally able to get even coverage it was caked on pretty thick. Once it set the makeup had a kind of nice, powdery finish which kept my skin looking matte without having to use powder after. It did a pretty good job hiding blemishes, but not so much for smoothing my fine lines. Overall it was a decent foundation, but just way too heavy for my taste.

Review - Clean Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Hand Cream

Kills 99.9% of germs instantly and continuously for up to 4 hours.

Patented SafetyDermTM technology veils your hands like invisible germ-killing gloves.

  • Alcohol Free
  • Paraben Free
  • Triclosan Free
  • Hypoallergenic
I definitely think its good to have a travel sized bottle of anti-bacterial gel with you at all times. Sometimes, you just aren't able to wash your hands. I've seen them as a foam, liquid and a gel but I've never seen it as a cream. This is a breakthrough for me because I hate the way the gels/foams and liquids always dry out your hands. After I used it, my hands felt nice and soft and just as clean.
It also lasts for up to four hours and protects with its patented Safety-Derm which coats your hands like gloves.
This has replaced my gel that I carry with me at all times. The best part is, there isn't any funky smell. You can apply it and it it won't stink like alcohol. I don't know much about the company so I plan to see what other innovative creations they have.

Review- Alpha Hydrox Ultra Rich Hand Therapy

Super creamy formula enriched with Lactic AHA. Gives immediate, long-lasting relief for even seriously dry, chapped hands. Rich & silky, not greasy. 3% Lactic AHA. Fragrance Free.Contains silky, smooth moisturizers with no greasy residue

I know it's summer and my hands are not even the slightest bit dry or scratchy - but I'm so addicted to this super thick and rich hand cream, that I can't stop using it! It really, really is creamy and takes quite a long time to dry, but once it does, boy is it worth it! I love the feeling of moisturized hands that last throughout the day. With continued use, my hands seem to be softer than ever. I'm so hooked on this hand cream and am glad it's affordable because I think I've converted to this thick lotion year-round!

Review- Softlips Lip Balm Protectant SPF20

  • Lip Protectant/ Sunscreen
  • SPF 20 helps prevent sunburn and temporarily protects chapped or windburned lips
  • Smooth glide-on formula moisturizes and provides lips with SPF protection from harmful UV rays to help keep them soft and healthy

It's summertime and the sun's rays are bearing down on us even more noticeably. Whether at the beach, at a bbq, sitting by the pool or just running errands, I figured I needed to upgrade my summer beauty routine and add more sun-protection products like this Softlips lip balm! There's a great consistency to the balm as I feel the SPF coverage working, plus the added care makes me feel better whenever I'm out and about. It's especially useful for protecting sunburn or even windburn and now I'm even more mindful than before to not leave home without protecting the lips from harmful rays! The only catch for me is that I've noticed I needed to reapply this lip balm at least once more than usual during the day - probably from the added SPF protection- but all in all it's worth it so that your lips will stay moisturized and protected during these hot and steamy summery days!

Sultana says: I have this one in Natural Honesty which is a nice nude tint. Pretty enough to wear with my everyday makeup, yet gentle and pure enough to put on at night. I like the fact that its thick, it goes on and it feels like its there. However, its a bit sticky. Also, it doesn't really have a scent. Then again, what would Natural Honestly smell like??

Melissa says: I have the peppermint flavor and love it. It goes on nicely and the peppermint gives a nice burst of goodness to my lips! It doesn't dry out my lips and has been keeping my lips soft. The line comes in a lot of flavors such as vanilla, cherry, and many others so you can find what flavor you like and keep your lips soft too. Oh, it also has SPF 20 which is a must in any lip gloss!

Review- CLEAN Body Veil

CLEAN Moisture Absorbent Fresh Body Veil is not your grandmother's powder! This fresh-keeping essential harnesses Cotton Vantage, a new technology that blends cotton seeds, cotton extracts, and cotton proteins to help absorb excess moisture. The time-release scent keeps skin smelling CLEAN all day long, while it helps keep you dry and protects delicate, moisture-sensitive fabrics.

I'm not really a powder girl, just way too lazy to bother with the extra step, and don't get sweaty enough to really need it. However it was quite a pleasure using CLEAN's Body Veil powder. The powder puff is super feminine and adds a layer of delicacy to your daily beauty routine. The powder itself is light and fluffy, and blends in easily so you don't end up looking like you just forgot to put lotion on that morning. The scent is fresh and light, and doesn't compete with your perfume, just leaves your skin nice and fresh all day. This product is a must for ladies who get a bit sweaty on a regular basis, but it will make a nice addition to anyone's beauty regimen.

Review- Alpha Hydrox Oil Free Treatment

Proven to significantly reduce and delay the onset of fine lines, wrinkles, forehead creases, crow's feet, laugh lines and more. With 10% Glycolic AHA at an effective pH 4, Alpha Hydrox Oil Free Formula effectively and safely lifts dead cells from the skin's surface, revitalizing & helping restore younger, healthy, more radiant-looking skin. Renews moisture, refines texture, improves elasticity and skin tone.

I have oily, acne-prone skin that gets really out of control in the summer months. Thankfully Alpha Hydrox's Oil-Free Treatment has been keeping my skin lovely in these smoldering temps. The lightweight gel is surprisingly gentle, given the strong does of glycolic acid, and I felt absolutely no stinging or irritation like I have with other alpha-hydroxy products. I've used it every night for about six weeks, and haven't seen a single pimple. Just smooth, glowing (not greasy) skin. It really hasn't done much for my fine lines/emerging wrinkles, but a great product for controlling oily skin.

Review- L'oreal HIP Color Presso Lip Gloss Duo

Discover the secret of endless lip color combinations. HIP Studio Secrets Professional Color Presso lets you customize hundreds of intense, high-gloss lip shades. Press one side for a single shade, press both sides to mix and blend countless more. Easy to combine. Easy to carry.

This is a great lip gloss for the girl on the go. The case is super compact and lightweight, with a flip-cap that lets you touch up your lip color with ease. Each shade is beautiful on its own, but mixed together they look really great, and the formula keeps your lips moist, even though it is a bit sticky. I'm not sure what the point of the little hook on the top is, since I can't imagine hanging my gloss, but the slim tube will fit easily into even the tiniest clutch. The biggest drawback is its short lifespan, as it wears off pretty fast even for a lip gloss.
