Review - Whish Three Whishes Body Butter

For amazingly moisturized skin, we’ve created a truly indulgent body cream with a unique triple antioxidant based formula. This fully loaded lotion both softens and soothes the skin while also helping to replenish and firm. Such sweet softness.

First off, this body butter comes in the most lovely packaging. The box is sturdy and cute, and the pump-action body butter dispenser is much classier than the tubs you normally see with this sort of thick creamy lotion. The other nice thing about it is that it's not super-greasy - just soft and smooth. I don't need a lot of lotion due to my oily skin, so often lotions leave residue, but not this one. It's a bit pricey for an everyday lotion, but it would make a killer gift since the packaging is so pretty. It comes in four scents, as you can see above, and I tested it in Lavender, which smelled exactly as you'd think it would.

Review - Yes to Cucumbers Completely Cooling Body Butter

Bring the zen back to your body! Our Completely Cooling Body Butter is rich in green tea, Dead Sea Minerals and Spirulina to totally nourish and moisturize your skin.

Movie Maven says:

Yes to Carrots has long been a favorite of mine (okay, a lot of that was because I thought the name was cute, but seriously...their products are great), but this was the first time I had the chance to try out this Yes to Cucumbers Completely Cooling Body Butter. I'm a huge fan of body butters in general, because they really treat my feet well. This body butter is just what you'd expect - thick, rich, and yes, completely cooling. I put it on my tootsies before bed, slipped on some cotton socks, and woke up to not only moisturized, but refreshed-feeling feet. The only caveat I'll mention is that this is SERIOUS MOISTURE. Don't apply it unless you are prepared to let it absorb into your hands for a good long while (thankfully, we had a few random episodes of The Simpsons on our DVR, so I watched that while I waited). The other thing that's nice about this product is that while it's not fragrance-free (there is fragrance listed in the ingredients), it may as well be. It just smells fresh and nice. Recommended!

Review- Plum Island Soap Co. Body Butter

Rich, thick, decadent and wonderful for thirsty skin. Made with a pure olive oil and beeswax base to help seal in moisture for prolonged protection. Scented with pure essential oils imported from all over the world for a truly 100% gentle and natural product. 11 yummy scents. $16.75; 6 oz.

This body butter is definitely creamy and my skin does drink it up. I did a comparison by putting it on a part of the back of my hand, sort of a side-by-side test. I absolutely could see a difference in smoothness and texture between the moisturized part and the dry part. I was given samples of orange and lemon lime. When I first tried them I thought a ten-year-old girl (and younger) would love that they smelled like the hard candies of the same flavor. But once the top note disappears (about two minutes), both scents settle down and become quite pleasant. It is creamy, but not so heavy that you feel you just slathered on grease. Body butter . . . I mean, really, who doesn’t love it? And everything I’ve tried from Plum Island, I’ve been pleased with.

CitySlicker Says:
I was lucky enough to get 2 samples of this incredible body butter. I have Pink Grapefruit & Ocean Mist. I can’t decide which I like better, I am instantly drawn to the delicious grapefruit. It is slightly tangy but sweet too. It’s amazing! On the other hand, Ocean mist is a clean crisp scent that isn’t perfumy but pure on my skin. The samples I have are the size of lip balm tubs so I have been using sparingly on the areas that need it most. I found that elbows, knees and my ankles are in the most need – OOOh, I forgot my hands too! A little goes a long way and this totally sinks into my skin leaving behind soft, smooth skin that I am not embarrassed to show off. The change in seasons has brought very dry skin for me and I am prepared to handle it! I find that my body parts are moisturized throughout the day and never flaky anymore... One other tip, this works great on your feet after a good scrub with fluffy socks. I will wear over night to wake and find super soft and moisturized feet! I really love this line! Thanks Plum Island!

Sheba says:
I have been using my Plum Island Soap Co. Body Butter in Ocean Mist. The only problem was the fact that there was no label other than 'Ocean Mist' so I had no idea who made this wonderful butter. I tried it on my hands first and fell in love with it so I went on to elbows, etc. I wasn't sure if it was hand cream or body cream and I wanted to find out. It made my decision that it is just terrific as a hand cream or a body butter. I decided to go to the various Web sites for products we are testing and discovered that Plum Island Soap Co. is the guilty party. Believe me, this is a very good guilty. This has such a wonderful fresh fragrance -- so clean and invigorating. However, if you prefer another scent -- just check them out. I have discovered they have many wonderful fragrances to choose from. The only problem you might have is trying to select just one. So go ahead, pick a few. The cost is minimal and your body will thank you by feeling so wonderful. It is a good investment for your skin.

Review- Plum Island Body Butter

Our Body Butters are rich, thick, decadent and wonderful for moisturizing thirsty skin. Made with a pure olive oil and beeswax base, our butters are absolute heaven to dry skin and will help seal in moisture for prolonged protection.

One of our favorite companies, Plum Island Soap, sent us itty-bitty baby samples of this delightful body butter - my main complaint is that we didn't get bigger containers! Happily, you need only a teeny bit of this thick butter to soften dry hands - and keep them soft. It's crazy creamy. Because this butter is made with essential oils, I found the scents to be a bit subtler than some creams and lotions I've tried, so if you're sensitive to artificial scents, but like a little somethin'-somethin' in your lo-lo, this might be a good option for you. The pink grapefruit (my favorite flavor!) scent is almost overwhelmed by the natural beeswax scent, but not quite, giving the butter a great, really natural smell. Definitely recommended!

Deedlejuse Says:

I totally agree with Movie Maven on this one! I am completely in love with Plum Island Soap Company, and their Body Butter might be my all-time favorite product of theirs. I love the smell of the natural oils, and I especially love that they are sooooo natural. My amazing story about this butter is I woke up in the middle of the night one night, and the crease of my toe had cracked. I wear sandals all summer, so my toes get so dry. Anyway, I slathered on some Wild Lavender Body Butter just because it was there and went back to bed. The next morning my toe had healed and my foot felt nice and moisturized. Lavender is one of those oils that have medicinal qualities, but I really had not expected it to work so well. Needless to say I went over and bought a tub the next day. You will not be disappointed!

Review - Bohemian Body Butter

Bohemian Body Butter by Vermont Bee Balm Company is the ultimate solution for problem dry skin. This 100 percent natural body butter is handmade in Craftsbury, Vermont. The combination of pure olive oil, water, cocoa butter, pure Vermont beeswax, lemongrass & citrus essential oils and sodium borate creates a long lasting moisturizer that will soften your skin all over. Luxurious!

This body butter is really wonderful. It is quite thick and waxy, so not the best for all over use in the summertime, but in the winter I think it might be a staple. Right now I have just been using it on "tough" areas like my elbows and knees. I love it. I don't think my elbow has ever been so smooth ever! The smell is heavenly, sort of citrusy with a rosewood base maybe. The smell really is lovely, very natural and soothing. The best part for me is that the butter leaves your skin looking sort of shiney (but your skin can still breath) so you look like your glowing. This body butter for an all natural organic product is great, you should give it a try!

Review: Aromafloria Body Butter with Shea and Aloe

This revitalizing Body Butter stimulates the metabolism of the cells to visibly improve skin texture. 100% pure pomegranate detoxifies and imparts anti-aging benefits. Smooth onto dry, sun-parched skin for ultimate renewal.

This has a freshly-whipped butter texture that does a good job of moisturizing the skin without feeling heavy. It’s excellent to use before you climb into bed and in warmer months because of its lightness. I have silk sheets on my bed so am really careful about what goes onto my skin before I climb between them.

Movie Maven says:
I got this in the Mango Ginger scent, and I was hard-pressed not to bust out a spoon and take a bite of it, so heavenly was its scent. The rich, lush moisturizing of this butter is wonderful for feet and hands, especially before bedtime. The one count against it is the price: you can get a bigger container of a comparable product for a smaller price at The Body Shop. But if you're looking to branch out and try something new, it's worth a try.

Review - Biotone Body Butter Pomegranate & Cranberry

Body Butter - Pomegranate & Cranberry- $24.00

Pomegranate, Cranberry, Almond, Wild Cherry, and Loquat. This fruity blend mildly relaxes the body while gently stimulating circulation to remove toxins, cleanse, tone and also help chapped or dry skin. Velvety rich to caress the skin with silky softness. Use after bath, shower, or as a full body night creme. Includes hydrating Wheat and Apricot Amino Acid, Shea Butter, healing and protecting Beta-Glucan, and the replenishing softening oils of Jojoba, Avocado, Peach and Sunflower. This sumptuous butter is the perfect indulgence to nurture the skin and the senses.

City Slicker Says:
YUM! The scent is so delicious. I am in love with it. It's a yummy almondy scent with a touch of cranberry. I am used to pomegranate being crisp, but can't detect it at all. This is a lovely prouduct that delivers great moisture to my bod. It does mimic butter in the sense that it spreads on like a margarine. LOL! I like to apply after showering to lock in the moisture. The bathroom fills up with the scent when I am applying also. I find that the scent isn't overpowering on my body either. I am able to apply then get dressed without any down time - this doesn't leave my body greasy at all. I also slather it on my tootsies at night with a pair of spa socks to wake and find that my feet are soft and smooth. This container lasts also. I use a small amount and haven't made much of a dent in a month.. It's all about the scent for me. YUMMY & moisturizer...a deadly combo!
