Review - Honeycat On The Prowl Shower Gel
Honeycat is NOT JOKING when they say this shower gel is "peach brandy." It smells like a delicious specialty Manhattan creme brulee or something. Personally, I don't like "warm" scents (things like vanilla, brown sugar, fall spices) on my person; I prefer "crisp" scents like citrus, so this wasn't my favorite for that reason. But if this flavor combination sounds good to you, jump in and lather up! It's a great shower gel that comes in a cute bottle!

Review - Save Your Skin Shower Gel

Save Your Skin™ moisturizing shower and shaving gel is a skin nourishing shower experience. Also, nourish your GREEN HEART by Saving 1 Acre of Rainforest for 1 Year with every bottle purchased. Cruelty-free, no parabens, just natural and organic ingredients including organic Yerba Mate, the nutrient-rich, antioxidant alternative to green tea.
Do you love our Planet? Of course who would say no, right? With that being said I think that all of us say that we will do more, but life gets in the way and we don't do as much as we would like. At least that is how it is for me.....
The company Save Your World gives us really easy, inexpensive ways to make a difference. Their products are all natural, organic, paraben-free, cruelty free, and made with the sort of crunchy down to earth goodness that you can really feel good about purchasing. The best part of the whole mix is that by purchasing many of you are ensuring the safety of 1 acre of rainforest for 1 year. I mean, really???? For something that you need anyways? I'll take it. Any of it.
I tried a few products from this co. both of which I love, but my most favorite would have to be the Save Your Skin Shower Gel which is made with organic Aloe Vera and Yerba Maté. It is sooooo wonderful! The flavor mine came in is Regal Blossom, and it smells amazing. Just like a full bodied floral, perhaps rose and jasmine, it is just so romantic. The gel is thin, and quite a strange color, but it lathers beautifully, moisturizes my skin with the aloe and all in all is just a fabulous product. For only $10~ (ok a bit on the pricey side but hey RAINFOREST remember!!) you can enjoy your shower with a clear conscience!

Review- Dove Sensitive Skin Nourishing Body Wash

Sultana says: I love Dove. My mom always used Dove's Sensitive skin version. I never tried the body wash before. Even though it is for sensitive skin, it doesn't make you feel any less clean. The smell is nice and light and oh so right! I will continue to buy Dove for my family.

Deedlejuse Says:
I love that this shower gel is organic. I don't know if it is because its organic (probably not) or because it is just really good but it leaves my skin super soft more like a shower cream than a gel. I actually work for this company, so I get to play with the scents a lot. Because of that I can make really fun scents in my body lotions and shower gels. My personal favorite is a combination of a perfume called Gaia (in the imports and house blends section) which is this awesome crisp fragrance with grapefruit and lavender, and Marc Jacobs Daisy which is a sweet flirty floral. The combination is just sooo good, in fact I haven't gotten any products with anything else for a while because I like it so much! Your wake-up shower will never be the same. The scents in the body wash are really fun because you can smell them in the shower and they are pretty strong. Unfortunately I don't think the smell stays too well after you wash with the body wash, but I work in a perfume bar so personal fragrance has to be pretty strong to get me to notice it!
Sheba says: I am a firm believer in these products. I received a heavenly fragranced oil as a present and that convinced me. I will do a review on that later. I have been using the 'Fresh Laundry' scented Bath and Shower Gel and it certainly resembles 'Clean' as claimed. It is definitely one of the best gels I have used and the scent is absolutely perfect for a 'Clean' perfume lover. It lathers up very well and leaves your skin feeling clean, soft, and silky with a slight remaining scent. That works well for me as it blends with my 'Clean' perfume. My skin is quite a bit less dry than it was. . . and that is not a benefit I get from most other bath gels. Some fragranced ones I have tried actually dried my skin. Hey, you can pick your own favorite scent. Their list of designer scents goes on and on and they are very true to the scent they are aiming for. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the products. You can shower with your favorite fragrance at a minimal cost compared to what you would pay for the actual designer's gel -- and they are so close you won't be able to tell the difference, except in the cost. Do not think these are similar to the knockoff sprays you find everywhere. These are in a completely separate league. Those are cheap imitations while these are true resemblances worth the cost.
CitySlicker Says: I have this in the scent of Marc Jacobs Daisy. I honestly can’t think of a better way to start my day than showering with this. It’s got a great lather when I use with a bath pouf, it starts off light then froths into a great rich foam... The scent it so great, it’s fresh clean, lightly floral and wakes the heck out of me. My skin is definitely hydrated and not dried out at all. I do follow up with a body cream out of instinct but I really believe that it’s unnecessary. Common on?? The fact is, I want MORE, like in a gallon bottle! You can't ask for more!
Movie Maven says: I just wanted to weigh in here, since it looks like all the other reviewers got perfume-scented versions of this. I chose to get two essential oils, mandarin orange and clove, combined in one scent, which is glorious. It's so fresh and not heavy at all, and the spiciness of the clove with the sweet, tart orange works really well. Obviously, since you can choose your own combination, there are ample ways to create a scent that doesn't work as well, but this product is great for times when you want to recreate a scent you already like, but can't find anymore. Two sudsy thumbs up!

Review - Mistral Foam Bath

This invigorating clean fragrance, with hints of mint, lime, marjoram and flowering jasmine, evokes the fresh radiance of summer. Verbena is one of the most energizing scents for a morning wake up.
I love the smell of lemon verbena, I used to have this great hand cream from somewhere I can't remember now... And the scent was really invigorating and awesome. This foaming bath and shower gel reminds me of that scent, it really perks you up when you're feeling run down. So far, I have only used this as a bubble bath and with my poop sponge in the tub, but it lathers really nicely, isn't too harsh and 'soapy' (in terms of making your skin feel tight/dry), and smells delicious especially for the spring and summer months. I imagine it makes a great shower gel also.
What I also love is that it's not tested on animals and comes in an easy to rinse and recycle glass bottle. The price is right too below $15 for a nicely sized bottle. This would make a great gift for someone that loves lemony scents.

Review - elizabethW Bath & Shower Gel
Our selection of deliciously fragranced bath and shower gels from elizabethW is the perfect way to indulge your senses. Whether you want to lavish your skin in a luxurious, cleansing bubble bath or turn a normal shower into an aromatic retreat, these amazing products from elizabethW bring the spa experience into the comfort of home.I received the Tuberose scent of this bath gel. It's so softly fragranced and gentle on the skin, I really love it. It reminds me a lot of this tuberose scented soap I used to be able to find at this health food store in Manhattan, but they have since stopped carrying it. I really love the scent. Check out the link (click the header) to see all the other lovely scents they have including Lilac, Rose & Sweet tea. I'm sure they are all as beautiful as the tuberose. The gel works really great, lathers well and feels very natural and non-drying. It also makes a great bubble bath!
Joyce says: The lavender scent I used is subtle, which I appreciate. I really don’t like to be overwhelmed by a fragrance. The pleasant surprise when I added it to my bath (it doubles as a bubble bath product) was it seemed to “soften” the water…very nice and unexpected. I wonder if they know their product does this. This is one product you can use for one of those candle-lit baths you take with your sweetie.
Hillary says: The scent I've got of this awesome bath (and shower) gel is Sweet Tea. Sweet is not the word! When I smelled it in the bottle I liked it but thought it was a little weak. When I got in the shower and started using it I was proven entirely wrong. It was just strong enough, and I still smell like Sweet Tea even though I've been out of the shower for 30 minutes. It's nice and hydrating too. I don't feel tight skinned in the least (and I'm the driest of the dry). I highly recommend both this shower gel & this particular scent!

Review - Philosophy Candy Cane Foaming Bubble Bath and Shower Gel

Indulge your senses and spread a little holiday cheer with this special bubble bath and shower gel in one. The luscious peppermint infused scent will make you feel like you've stepped into a winter wonderland.
I am primarily familiar with the Philosophy brand as "that one brand with all the flavors." With scents like Sugar Cookie, Coconut Frosting, Senorita Margarita, and Chocolate Ice Cream (currently in my shower, courtesy of my roommate), their products often feature a recipe on the label (making me want to make ice cream every time I take a shower). The candy cane scent is a special holiday one, and I will say this much: you better love candy canes if you plan on buying a bottle of this stuff. It smells lovely, it's true, but WOW is that smell ever THERE in your FACE. It lathered up fine with a pouf* and was neither particularly drying nor particularly moisturizing. Standard-issue shower gel, I'd say, with a good scent for mint aficionadas.
*Incidentally, this is a pouf:

This is a loofah:

One is made of nylon. One is made of a vine. That's all.
