Here is my holy grail of sunscreen! I used to use Skinceuticals and loved that till I had the chance to try NIA 24's. I love it and so does my face. I was used to the spf 45, but have been doing really well with spf 30. This goes on and initially feels greasy but it absorbs into the skin and feels weightless. It's amazing. It is very hard to use an spf then put makeup on over it...well, this has been my savior. I am on my 2nd tube and still loving it, it carried me through the summer. It's easy to reapply and isn't perfect at going over makeup but isn't terrible either. With the Skinceuticals, I couldn't ever do that. This has no scent and is wonderful with my sensitive skin. I love it and would pay double if I had to. I haven't ventured into trying anything else from the line. You will be amazed that it almost settles into the skin and feels powdery. Amazing. I am a huge spf lover and don't go out without it. Rain, sun, snow, you name it and I am still protected. I do my part in protecting myself.

I had been using/ searching for the "perfect" sunscreen for years. I stumbled upoin NIA mineral sunscreen and decided to go ahead to buy it based on reviews though it was a bit pricy.
Well, am sorry to say that it BUTNT my skin to deep RED. First day i thought my skin is gettin gused to the sunscreen .Diligently used for 4 days which i shouldnt have,. Obviously if you are sensitive or allergic to any ingredient, it really doesnt matter if its a high end product or a cheaper one. Try to get samples before you splurge, thats my only advise.
I just started using their trial kit sample and I must say I love their 100% mineral sunscreen spf 30! It absorbs right into my skin that looks like a matte finish. It's not greasy or oily at all like other sunscreen I've tried in the past which would always make my skin oily all the time. The only problem I have with it is that everytime I put on the sunscreen spf 30 after applying the skin strenghtening cream it makes my skin look really white as though I'm applying white powder on my face. Sort of like what a Japanese Geisha woman would look like after wearing their white powder make-up. Just today my husband asked why my face look so white like a ghost. Am I not applying their product correctly? Please help advice me!
I am baffled by your comments! I don't have the skin strengthener so I can't comment on that but I can't understand why your skin isn't absorbing the sunscreen. I find that within moments it's visually disappeared. I think I would go straight to NIA 24 and ask for their advice, I have never experienced and color change in my skin from usage.. :)
Here is the response from NIA 24's PR person (she should know!):
"Regarding NIA 24, she is putting too much sunscreen on if she is getting a light white residue. Since it is an oil free formula and feels so matte, sometimes people tend to over apply it."
I don't know, even when I put a small amount of the sunscreen on my face it still leaves that white tint color which really bothers me. As much as I like their sunscreen I may not buy it after all because of the white residue it gives my face. My other problem that is starting to progress is the dryness. I'm not sure how long that will take before it subsides. Is the dryness normal? I feel as though the dryness is creating more fine line and wrinkles.
There is the chance that your skin is too sensitive for the Niacin Complex in NIA24 products and that is causing the dryness. I think it's a great product, but it's obviously not for everyone. Take care.
All my best,
Hillary
