Review - Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Lotion

Enriched with Vitamin E, in a soothing emollient base. Heals and softens rough, dry skin. Smoothes marks. Tones skin. An excellent all-over-the body moisturizer and after tanning butter. Also available in fragrance free formula.

Ok, I know it sounds sort of silly, and way too cheap to be awesome but this is a really great lotion for the price. I have very pale dry skin, which almost gets chalky in the winter months because it is so dry. I started using Palmer's Cocoa butter in college, because it is cheap and dorm rooms in the North East are notoriously moisture sucking because of the dry heat, and I was shocked by how effectively it moisturized my skin. It soaks in pretty quickly, even though it is super thick and it doesn't get sticky like other products with super oily bases like Cocoa or Shea. It also has an added advantage of reducing stretch marks, and the appearance of cellulite for me at least. I like to get the pump top, because the other top can be difficult to get the lotion out with. I really like the rich smell of the cocoa, it sort of smells like a chocolate milk shake (heavy on the milk) that tends to work with most of the perfumes that I use. If you don't like that smell it is also available in unscented.

CitySlicker Says:
It's so funny that you reviewed this, I too love it and agree that the scent is like a light milk chocolate.. You really can't beat the price on this, it's a true gem. It's not greasy at all and delivers moist that lasts, I am thankful that the scent doesn't linger all day, I don't want to be running around smelling like a Hershey's bar.. The way the bottle is shaped does mean when you use up a certain amount it's time to flip it over and leave it on the lid so you can get it out, I never got the pump but when I need some I will look into it. Overall, you can't beat the price and the fact that it works..

Gee, I wouldn't have the first idea of where to get it in Stockholm, I'm sorry. There's always international ebay!
