Its conditioning formula gives hair natural shine without unwanted weight or stickiness.I am very picky about hair products and I must say this product does not hold up to the Aveda name. The scent is way too strong, it was almost like putting tea tree oil in my hair. There was next to no "hold" as the product claims to have medium hold and left both my hair and forehead feeling oily. I love most everything Aveda makes, but this product is a definite misfire.
