Airbrushed Spray Tan, prices vary depending on Salon
I am SUPER pale, I love a tan but the sun doesn’t love me so I use self tanner and the new moisturizers with a touch of sun... I do like using them but went to a wedding this past weekend so I wanted to ensure that my tan was even all over. The salon rep completely set my mind at ease also; I was feeling very self conscious and nervous but she made me feel complete comfortable and ready to get sprayed. The process took about 15 minutes and covered my entire body with the exception of my boy shorts; I wasn’t ready to bare it all! When I was done I felt sticky like any other self tanner, this time I had to make sure I didn’t get wet for 2 hours not even a drop then wasn’t supposed to shower for 6 hours.. When I left the salon, I could completely see the beginning of a golden tan... I wanted to go to bed the moment I got home so I would awake to find a Brazilian tan reflection in the mirror... I woke to find the most even application of self tanner I have ever seen, it looked natural no orangey look at all... I was so excited...
I was told the tan would hold for about a week so I am going back in 1 week for an additional spray... I think I may be a junkie. I love the healthy sun kissed glow without the UVA & UVB rays. I can wear shorts and sleeveless shirts and not feel like I am glowing white. This has definitely been a self esteem boost for me also. I did buy the tan extender which is similar to the moisturizers with a touch of sun. This is a thick tropical smelling cream that nourishes the tan and does help extend it. I can vouch for it because I didn’t use it on my torso area and did notice that it started to fade... The only downside of the tan is that it doesn’t fade the same everywhere so I have used a self tanner on my feet (only because wearing shoes without socks rubbed some if it away) and face. When she sprayed my face it was a quick so the color wasn’t as deep, I will report on my second application if anyone comments on this post... The salon I go to charged $45 then if you come back in 1 week $35 on the second application. I think it’s worth it and doesn’t take much effort to maintain...

I also love spray tanning and I found that once you do it regularly the skin holds the tan much longer, so you might only need another spray every 1 1/2 to 2 weeks.
That depends though on putting in an effort to moisturize with a tan extender daily to repair damage and extend the tan.
You must also do a very good job exfoliating before next session. No shortcuts there!
I agree it totally depends on the effort that you put in before and after your spray tan. The more - the longer it will last.
