Review- Erbaviva Quease Ease Lip Balm

Our great new Lip Balm that fits easily in your pocket or purse is perfect for calming mommy’s queasy stomach. With long lasting, hydrating effects, it will smooth right on and tingle from essential oils of Ginger and Peppermint. Petroleum free, and almost 100% organic, this Lip Balm is safe and healthy for mommy-to-be.

Well, to be totally honest, I'm totally NOT pregnant. Alright, no biggie. Not to get TOO personal, but to get personal enough to make a point, I have gone through (medication induced) periods of severe nausea and barfing (gross I know) and I am excited to try this stuff out when those terrifying, exhausting times hit me. I'm sure those of you that are weak of stomach or take medications that mess with your stomach can relate.
With that said, the next time a friend gets pregnant, I am going to buy this stuff for them and say "try this out, NOW", and see what happens. But let me say this, it's soft and gushy and feels great on your lips and also is tingling and softening. It's also only $9 according to the link noted above (click the headline up there, ok?) If you know anyone pregnant, or prone to puking, let them try this out. In the meantime I'm going to just use it because I like the smell.

Review - Smith's Rosebud Salve

Rosebud Salve
This cult-favorite, multi-purpose lip balm soothes dry lips, calms and heals irritation, and soothes the sting of minor burns. Try dabbing on dry elbows or knees to condition, and relieve dryness. Also an excellent remedy for the treatment of diaper rash.

Honestly, I can't believe that no one has reviewed this awesome lip balm yet! This is probably the best lip balm I have ever had, it is so rich and thick. It doesn't taste very good, so you aren't licking your lips all the time, but it smells like roses. The smell is elegant and the sheen is delightful. This salve can be used on rashes and other chapped skin all over your body. It is in a very convenient little tin that really stays shut, so you don't have to worry about goo getting all over the inside of your bag. I would definitely say this is one of the most versatile fixatives I have found, it should be in everyones make-up bag.

Sheba says: You are so right about this lip balm. It begins to work almost immediately. I like the fact that it does not taste good -- it lasts longer with me not licking it off all the time. The scent is really beautiful without being overpowering. (I have had some lip balms that I could not wear -- your lips are so close to you nose and the balm just took over and I couldn't smell anything else.) Like Deedlejuse said it is as good on chapped areas. It healed my hands after putting wood in a fireplace resulting in very chapped and cracked skin. It is very small and can fit into your tiniest little bag so you can always have it with you without any problem.
