Review- Marini Hair Revitalizing Conditioner

Marini Hair dramatically improves the appearance of aging, and environmentally and chemically-damaged hair, and gives it renewed body and bounce. Results are visible from the first application. This unparalleled hair rejuvenation product immediately gives hair a renewed appearance of body and bounce. Hair will appear significantly thicker, fuller, lusher and dense and results will become progressively more pronounced with continued use. $170 for a 4 oz. spray bottle.

Warning: I'm about to sound like a cheesy infomercial right now. This stuff really works, and works amazingly. I've been guilty of chemically treating and heat styling my hair for years, and the result is thinned out, dry, damaged locks and a hairline that has started creeping further and further back. I tried Marini Hair with my usual skepticism, but have never been more impressed with any product. Ever. I applied it each night, concentrating around my temples and scant hairline, and after 6 weeks the results are incredible. The hair around my temples and front hairline has almost completely grown back, as if it had been there all along. Now I know this stuff is pricey, but here are two reasons why I think its a totally justified expense: first, after 6 weeks of daily use, the bottle still looks completely full and at this rate it will last forever; and two, if you're like me, you've wasted a lot of money on products that didn't really work, so take comfort knowing that you will not be disappointed with this. And I'm just thrilled that I can pull my hair straight back into a ponytail without worrying about my over-exposed forehead!

Review - Cynos Nano Pack

Cleanse, Repair & Protect
Softer, smoother & shiner hair
Suitable for any hair type. Nano Pack $69.99

The concept is simple, yet I haven't seen a product like this before. The shampoo cleanses, the conditioner repairs & the deep conditioner protects. You may not have heard of Cynos and that is because they are huge in Canada but they are becoming more & more popular in the United States.
I used this consecutively for three weeks exactly as they suggest on the label. Wash your hair, condition daily and follow up with the deep conditioner once a week. I had noticeably shinier & softer hair. I didn't have to use a detangler like I usually do. Keep in mind that although you can use these products separately, the results are definitely better when used together as a system.
The amazing part about this entire line is that its made for everyone. CYNOS is salon grade yet affordable and that's something we all can appreciate!

Trish Says: I didn't know much about CYNOS before trying their shampoo and conditioner set, but now that I have all I can say is wow, this stuff really rocks! After every wash, my hair felt so much silkier and smoother and looked shinier than I could ever remember. I am surprised at how well the shampoo and conditioner set locks in moisture, making my hair look healthier and feel ten times silkier than normal. I too noticed that over time and with regular use, the state and condition of my hair has greatly improved and the effects last even if I skip a day of washing or substitute another brand! Truly amazing technology this hair care provides, I am simply in awe at how well it works! If your hair is in any need of damage control from over-processing, look no further, this combination will absolutely restore its natural beauty and shine to pristine conditions!

Josephine says: This was my first interaction with CYNOS, too. It's a wonderfully subtle shampoo/conditioner combo that has repeatedly left my hair in excellent condition after each subsequent use. The deep conditioner is remarkable, too. I used it on my son who practically drools when he sees me bring in a new bag of products because he wants to immediately "smeeall them" all then promptly use them in his bath time experience. He loved CYNOS, too, and frankly his hair has never been more manageable (it's baby fine still but gets maddeningly knotted at the back when he sleeps). Good on you to our brothers and sisters from the North!

Review- Curlisto Bio Curl Conditioner

This deep moisturizing conditioner is specifically formulated for dry, chemically treated or damaged hair. Vitamins A and E moisturize and strengthen. Proteins leave hair soft, frizz free and tangle free. Gentle enough to be used daily. $14 for 4 oz.

Curlisto is one class act. I have made this opinion known through all of my reviews of their products so far because when a company authentically values its products and thus us, its consumer, it bears recognition. The Bio Curl Conditioner compliments the shampoo of the same name with its scent, performance and specialness. The jojoba oil topnote transported me back in time somewhere to my youth when I used a product with the same light fresh scent. I wasn't blown away by any new or evolved way in which my hair was conditioned, per se, but my experiences have been more than pleasant so far. One more thing, going back to my Seventeen magazine days, I would pour over the beauty tips like they were the secrets to the universe and I'll never forget a famous stylist at the time referencing stearalkonium chloride as a "must" ingredient in one's conditioner. I haven't seen it in a million years in something until now...!

Malikah Says:
This conditioner boasts amazing moisturizing properties that leave hair soft, supple, and tangle free. The directions say to leave it on for 3 minutes then rinse, but I let it sit for about 15 for extra conditioning. My hair came out incredibly soft and shiny, and the fragrance was superb! The conditioner is fortified with Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein which retains moisture and prevents dryness, hydrolyzed soy protein which repairs and strengthens hair shaft and Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract which hydrates dry hair and scalp. Curlisto Bio Curl conditioner is perfect for anyone concerned about dry, damaged hair and breakage.

Review- Arrojo Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner

A LUXURIOUS, VITAMIN-PACKED, DEEP CLEANSER WITH SOOTHING SCENTS OF BERRY. GENTLY CLEANSES, HYDRATES AND REPAIRS COLOR-TREATED, OVER-PROCESSED, DRY, OR DAMAGED HAIR. ADDS STRENGTH AND VITALITY, FULLNESS, BODY, AND SHEEN. HIGH-HYDRATION CONDITIONING CREAM WITH HEALTH-GIVING VITAMIN B5. THE RICH MOISTURIZING FORMULA REVIVES AND INVIGORATES THE NEEDIEST OF HAIR. DELICATELY SCENTED WITH ORGANIC BERRY MUSK.

This stuff smells awesome! As I've posted before, I beat the living heck out of my hair. I dye it and fry it and iron it... It hates me. So when I use shampoo and conditioner, I have to be really really careful that it doesn't strip any of the moisture out of my hair and protects it perfectly. Sometimes I use what I think will be a great conditioner, and I end up looking like the bride of Frankenstein. The Arrojo stuff worked great, I shampooed twice and it didn't dry my hair out at all, and the condition made my hair super soft and smelled delicious. As said before, the price is right with this stuff, it's definitely worth trying.

Josephine says: I second all of that, Miss Amanda. The scent of both products makes me smile, the shampoo cleans but not harshly and the conditioner made my mop of waviness manageable if not downright malleable. Having now tested 6 of this product line's list of goods, I can comfortably say that they know what the h*ll they are doing across the proverbial board.

Review - Catwalk Sexed-up Body Building Conditioner

"Body Building Conditioner - Say goodbye to flat, limp hair. Sexed-Up Body Building Conditioner will revive your luscious locks with vitamins, pure proteins and mesmerizing moisturizers. This is a conditioning treatment you will NEVER forget! To Use: Work thoroughly through damp hair and rinse. For extra therapy, leave in 3 to 10 minutes. Features: look- big, beautiful & healthy looking, feel -soft & thick, consistency - light, won't weigh down your hair, hair types - any hair length or texture, fragrance - raspberry lemonade, details - provides delectable moisture adds great body & thickness" 8.oz- $13

This conditioner does give your hair a very luxurious feel with a definite look of some more thickness. You just need a little dab -- work it in and let it stay for a while. I leave it in while I finish my shower which gives it some time to work its wonders on my hair. It does have that Raspberry Lemonade scent which is very refreshing and it is not overbearing. When I rinse it out my hair does have a great feel to it. I can feel the extra moisturizing when I put my fingers through it and that is when I noticed the different feel in the texture. It feels a bit fuller and it does look like there is some extra body to it. I was lucky enough to find it at Home Goods for $2 on Clearance. After using it a few times I returned to pick up the last one at that price. I have since checked for it -- to no avail. However, I do have enough with the two bottles to last quite a while. Hopefully, by then I will have found it on clearance again. If not, I will need to check around for the best price. I will definitely buy it again.

Review - Revlon Flex Balsam & Protein Frequent Use Triple Action Conditioner, Extra Body

For hair in need of some hydration, Flex® Conditioner is the perfect way to restore lost moisture and protect against breakage. This unique conditioning formula supplements your hair's natural moisture, while strengthening and protecting during wet and dry combing. $2.69

Let me repeat Revlon is missing the boat by not pushing this line of products. It is an excellent line. The price is more than reasonable, especially when you can find it near you. I find it on sale as buy one, get two free. I have stocked up on it as it sometimes disappears for a while and you need to really look around to locate it. The search is always worth it. I find it works best with the coordinating shampoo and it leaves your hair so clean, smooth, fresh feeling, soft, and yet with a feel of more texture or body. It remains one of my all time favorites for my hair. Actually, I should be happy that Revlon has left this line on the back burner: if they did 'push' this product line, the price would certainly go up. So I am content with it remaining a hidden gem.

Review - John Frieda Luxurious Volume Conditioner

Damage caused by styling and environment stress creates "pores" inside the hair, reducing its density The patented technology used in the formulation of Luxurious Volume Full Splendor™ Conditioner penetrates all hair types, restoring fullness while it strengthens strands from the inside out and lifts hair for healthy volume that starts at the root. Weightlessly conditions only where needed with a specialized conditioning formulation that leaves hair soft, silky and full-bodied.

Quite simply John Frieda Luxurious Volme Conditioner does all that it claims. It is quickly absorbed by my hair and I leave it in for several minutes while I finish showering and then return to wash it out. Your hair is left so soft and full of body that you can feel the difference right away. Usually when I am left with soft hair like this-- it feels like I have less body than usual -- NOT TRUE with this. I need to run out and buy the rest of this line. I bought this as the coupon on the product tempted me. You can find it almost anywhere -- I discovered it at Walmart. The price is very reasonable for such a hard working product. I say hard working as my hair is very fine and thin -- always has been. . . and this actually worked by making it feel thicker and as though I actually have some body in the hair. It is definitely up there with my top favorites for my hair. You cannot go wrong with this product.
