   $24 for 2.5 oz.   This product rocks on a number of levels: it's the only mousse- product I know that doesn't use petroleum-based propellants to get it out of the container, it holds your hair exactly where you style it, it smells good and I had no period of trial and error with it because it seems to be pretty klutz-proof.  Basically you pout a little bit of this froth into your hand (a quarter size for your whole head) and it's a liquid.  Then you rub your hands together a bit, pull them apart and watch as the product foams up.  We're not talking oodles of foam, but enough foam so that you'll have no problem styling even long hair with a quarter sized amount, so a little goes a long way.  And it has a lot of hold for such a small dose.  I am growing out my bangs, however, the front of my hair falls forward.  If I use this mousse and blow dry my hair back, I don't have any problems with "hair blindness" (when your hair goes in front of your eyes and you can no longer see, usually at the least opportune moment).  I also really like that I'm not using any propellants which are bad for the environment.  Privé as a company is not totally green, but they do do a lot to be greener than most hair companies (recycling their shampoo and conditioner bottles when returned to the salon, making this mousse with no propellants, etc.).  If you haven't tried anything by Privé yet, I highly suggest placing an order or stopping by one of the salons.  The products may seem costly, but they really do last a long time when used correctly.

Review - Tresemme 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse

I've liked Tresemme since I was a kid and my mom used to buy the hugest bottle possible of "shampooing" - I think the shampoo she bought was from Canada for some reason - that we would all use. Tresemme feels a lot more luxurious than it costs, and it always smells really nice. This 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse may be a bit of a misnomer - I mean, 24 hours of body is basically impossible, if you ask my lank locks - but it definitely works really well! Obviously, you'll do well to use it in conjunction with a blowdryer, but a little dollop will give your hair good body without being super-sticky (it's a little sticky, though. It's mousse). I know mousse is, like, sort of 90s or something, but I don't care. More throwback products to go with our throwback fashion! Everyone should be wearing mousse and Hammer - excuse me, harem - pants.

Review - Bed Head Mousse Wax

These products are designed for people who want to 'Rock their Hair'

Actually, the shampoo was not bad at all. It did seem to keep my hair from being very dry. The Mousse Wax is really intended for today's looks and for the spikey and wet look. A friend gave me both when she found they did not work well for her. I found the shampoo to be in the same league with many shampoos and it does the job. The Mousse wax left my hair dry-- but looking wet and greasey. I only used a tiny bit thank goodness but that was more than enough to tell me that it is not for me. I have passed it on to someone with children in their 20's and know they will love it. It is exactly what they need to keep their doos look like they should today. I know they will love it. The price seems very in tune with similar products and I am betting it can be found on Ebay.

I purchased this product because it is a mousse that’s made for hair like mine, ethnic hair. Sadly, this product does absolutely nothing for me. The only positive thing I can say about this product is that it left my hair somewhat shiny and unlike most mousse products out there it doesn’t really leave your hair or hands sticky.

I normally wear my hair two ways: I either wash it and let it air dry for a wavy look or I blow dry and flat iron it for a straight look. I tried the mousse with both looks. When I let my hair air dry and applied the mousse, within a few minutes it seemed to have sucked a lot of moisture from my hair leaving it looking and feeling dry and when I blow dried my hair and applied the mousse it only seemed to weigh my hair down.

My hopes were very high for this product for several reasons, but unfortunately this product didn’t live up to my hopes at all.
