Review - Greenleaf Spa Foaming Hand Soap

I've always had a weird anti-foaming hand soap bias. I think it's maybe that I don't feel like I wash my hands as vigorously with foam soap as I do with a liquid soap, or something? Like, half the work is already done. It's lathered up. What's left for me to do? So I was skeptical with this one.

However, I put this Greenleaf Spa Foaming Hand Soap in my downstairs bathroom to see how the roommates reacted. "Oh my god," one said. "It's so...SMOOTH." I had to agree with him. The soap leaves your hands feeling clean, but SOFT. Like, creepily soft. And the scent we got - snow flowers (not a real flower) - isn't available online anymore, but if the others are anything like this one, they'll be dreamy.

Okay, so the soap is a little pricey. Maybe you get it and you put it in your Fancy Bathroom where some mom in the 80s would have put shell-shaped soaps that I never ever thought were candy and accidentally ate one time. Throw some seahorse towels on the rack, put this foaming hand soap behind the sink, and you got a stew* going.

I don't think I understand the name of this hand soap company. I mean, I get that it's a play on the word "bewitching," but is it supposed to be, like, someone's name? Bernard Witching? I'm not going to worry about it too much, because I liked the soap enough that the name doesn't really matter.

I got this Kitchen & Garden Soap in the Garden Sage scent, and hoo boy! Is it ever sage-y. My roommate, when we moved into a new apartment, really wanted to do a cleansing ritual where we burned sage to clear the house of bad energy (she's from California, she can't help being a little bit of a hippie), but we never got around to it. (The energy in our house seems ok to me, though.) If we had done that ritual, though, I think the sage smell would have been approximately as strong as the smell on this soap. Not to say that it's a bad thing. The idea with these Kitchen & Garden Soaps, as you see in the quote from their website, is that the scent of the soap will help mask pungent odors from your Kitchen & Garden work (respectively, onions and manure, I assume). And mask it certainly does! I enjoyed it greatly. I wish their website was a little more user-friendly, but if I had to choose between nice soap and a nice website, I guess I choose nice soap. Try it!


Deedlejuse Says: Ok, seriously, I adore this soap. I even am willing to over look the website, which is difficult to navigate-we'll say. The flavor of my soap is Heirloom Tomato. I must tell you there is nothing closer to my heart than tomatoes, and the heirloom is my favorite of all of the varieties. The soap is strong, but also cleans very well and does eliminate any odors from miscellaneous yuckies you might come into contact with. The scent really does smell just like a tomato plant in the sunshine, and always makes me smile! All of the products from this company look affordable and natural. I think it just needs a chance for people to get on the bandwagon, and I am so there! Any company that understands the wonders of the tomato plant are a-ok in my book!

Sultana says: "Roasted Coffee" is the one that I have. I expected it to smell really strong and overwhelming but it was quite the opposite. It doesn't even smell like coffee! It smells very light with a hint of vanilla, which I love. This won me over for two reasons. First, I hate the way traditional soaps make your hands feel after you wash dishes and this makes them feel very moisturized. Secondly, it has tea tree oil and smells great. This is a company I am starting to like! I say Yes!

I'm smelling it all the time because it really opens up the senses and gives your hands a refreshing feeling. I read all of the other reviews, and I must try the other varieties. This is a large container and is a bit expensive but it looks wonderful in the kitchen and works really nicely even on the dirtiest hands.. I find that is doesn't dry my hands out & my hands have been super dry, this soap doesn't add any more dryness at all. It's got a nice lather that rinses well and the scent doesn't linger on your hands so you can totally put on scented hand creme with no contradictions..

Rosemary Lime Soy Candle $12.95

This is a great kitchen candle.. It burns evenly and throws a wonderful scent in the kitchen, it's scrumptious.. I love it so much.. I can tell you this, if you are cooking something and you want to remove the scent, this is the candle to help out, the same crisp lime and waffling rosemary take over and make the joint smell fresh, clean and inviting, it's a small jar but it does last and these are so pretty that they make nice gifts too. . . they look like they are home made.

Rosemary Lime Hand Lotion $11.95

This is newest part of the collection that I have.. I had to have it so I got it a couple of weeks ago.. This is a nice creamy lotion that helps with my dry hands and is a perfect topper when you are done with the soap.. I find that one pump is enough and this doesn't make my skin greasy or slippery, the lotion absorbs quickly and feels like silk.. I will be rebuying these, I can't get enough of the scent!

I received one of these candles in this scent as a gift. Wow, what a delightful scent. It is so very refreshing and does kill any unpleasant odors such as onion, fish, frying oil, etc. The air is so citrus clean with that little tang of Rosemary. I love fried scallops and do not have them that often. Actually I probably have fried foods at restaurants 99% of the time as I hate that heavy oily smell after frying in the house. However, that is no longer a problem -- this candle removes that lingering heavy odor and leaves the house smelling clean and light. I definitely recommend this particular candle -- especially for the kitchen. City Slicker is so right -- they make wonderful presents. The price is definitely on target for a candle with so much to offer. It is a soy candle and we all know how clean they burn. It will last and last and each and every time you use it -- it will deliver its wonderful fragrance.

I do like this deep cleansing soap as it is not drying to your skin as a lot of anti-bacterial products seem to be. It comes in many different scents and if you do choose the 3 for $10 deal you can mix them up. Also, usually there are coupons available. Once you are on their mailing list you will get coupons fairly regularly. The soap does cleanse as promised and seems to exfoliate as they claim. Yet, it is still gentle as your hands will feel clean and smooth. I keep this one handy in the kitchen as I usually run there to wash my hands after patting or playing with my dog. They sell the hand and body lotions to match your choice of scent(s). Some scents are too flowery or smell like a fake of their name for me. However, there are many that are very true to their given scent. They have samples of just about every scent they offer so take advantage of that before you buy. Make sure it feels good to you and has a scent you really enjoy. Do not just trust the scent name to be what you want. . . try it.

Review- Sun Feather Angelica Soothing Herbal Soap

I have the Angelica variety of this soap with shea butter, balsam and lavender. It smells wonderful! If you asked me without looking at the label I would not have known the scent but let me tell you, the combination is great. It is in a pump dispenser and can be used for hands or body. I chose to use it as a hand soap & it's so well scented that you can smell your hands 10 minutes after washing them and they still smell like aromatherapy oils. It's also very gentle due to the Angelica & shea butter. My husband even commented how much he liked it and he never mentions things like that. At $13 this soap is a great deal as I've been using it for about 2 weeks (for a family of 2) and it's maybe 1/3 of the way done. You get great softening benefits, lovely smell and good value with this soap.

My usual hand soap routine went like this: hit soap dispenser pump, catch a glop of something, wash hands, think they’re soft but know they won’t be shortly afterwards. Body Candy Foaming Hand Soap was quite a surprise after this.

First of all, product appears clear but the pump dispenses a white foam, almost like a very light mousse. The washing part was much faster and easier than pushing around a thick product and the result on my hands was delightful. They felt soft without any kind of greasy after effect and the scent was perfect. Just a hint of fragrance.

“Truly fun” seemed like a strange description for a hand soap but they’re not kidding. Body Candy Foaming Hand Soap really is fun to use, it’s both gentle and effective and it comes in a very generous size. Love it. You can find this on the internet.
