This bronzer is good, I'm sure, but I am a very pale blond and I received shade 3. It looked VERY orange on my skin, more so than any other bronzer I have tried. So I applied it, it has great pigment for the price (under $5) and unfortunately for me has great staying power. I would say if I had received this in the right color I would be very happy with the end result. Ruby Kisses makes some very good quality for very little money. Hopefully someone else has also received this bronzer so they can add to this post! Please feel free to add your opinions and thoughts!

Review - Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Beige

I am a total Bobbi Brown girl. Bobbi Brown has all these yummy products that smell just as natural and delicious as they are made, and their perfect woman is one who likes to look super natural and immaculately groomed. Thus: Me. The Shimmer Brick is one product that I have actually purchased multiple times, as the first one took a nasty break during a trip I went on. I don't think this is a normal occurrence, just one I was unlucky enough to have happen to me. It is basically a shimmery bronzer that one can use all over the face to accentuate the structure of your face. It is picked up easily with any hard packed blush brush (I use my elf one) and is distributed easily on the face. The best part, of course, for me is that this shimmer brick doubles as a blush and bronzer for me (yes I am that pale). I absolutely adore it, and I will continue to purchase it as many times as I need to!! Please do yourself a favor and try one of these bricks of wonderfulness. You will not be dissapointed!

The PUR Mineral Glow Mineral Light Split Pan gives us makeup lovers that easy age-old excuse to buy something new. It's two products in one! How utilitarian. One side holds a coppery hint-of-metallic bronzing powder while the other a shimmery light-reflecting highlighting powder. As a fair girl who occasionally likes the appearance of having been in the sun without actually having done so, finding a bronzer that does not go orange is a mission within itself. Luckily, this one does not go on orange or worse, turn tacky after time. But it is, alas, too gold for my skin tone. I am too pink for its sun-kissed goodness. The golden shimmer in the product would look lovelier on someone with a yellow-based skin tone. However, I think the highlighting powder is really special. It goes on soft and smooth from eyelids to cheekbones and it catches just enough light to look like your walking around with a hidden lighting crew whose sole purpose in life is to make you look flawless. My suggestion for the best application? Apply with a medium wide blush brush then tap gently into skin with a moisturizing toner sprayed onto a sponge. Viola! Subtle glimmery goodness.

Sooooo..... They don't necessarily have the best website, and I'm not completely in love with the packaging, but I can't get enough of the make-up!!! I adore this line. Seriously, I'm not a huge "make-up person" I don't like to look like I'm wearing a whole lot. I need to look natural, so I don't feel funny. Obviously, it is relatively difficult to find the right make up to make me look gorgeous but completely natural. I don't think that I have ever really found a line that I have liked more. The shade I lucked out with in this line is the Golddigger, it is a fabulously fantastic shade of gold with a hint of darkish pink. There is mica, I think, or some other wonderful thing, but regardless the effect is a beautiful shimmery bronzer that highlights my pale pinkish undertones perfectly. Definitely my new favorite bronzer!

Sheba says: Giselle Mineral Bronzer is a little different from my other bronzers. It has some real shimmer to it -- just the right amount. Any more and it just might be just 'too much'. I have Selfish and it is a gorgeous bronze and gives your face exactly the amount of oooommpphh you want to add. I have been watching Carmindy on 'What Not to Wear' and she brushes the bronzer lightly all over the face. So I have been using that tip and it works very nicely. It is up to you how much you want to apply. It is easy enough to just do another swipe of bronze to add a little more. I like a little less so I just use a light swipe here and there. It looks very natural with just a tiny shimmer and you look a little more healthy. I do like another quick application when I am going out at night. I find that it does stay on relatively well and it definitely agrees with my skin. I have been having luck with mineral make up for some time now and this is right up there at the top of my favorite bronzers!!

Hillary says: I initially thought that I would have to review this product based on quality alone as it looks so dark in the container (I have this bronzer in Baby Brown) & I am so pale, but as it turns out, it works for me. Now if you are a fair girl like myself you must be very careful with this bronzer, one extra swipe & you look like you have brown 5 o'clock shadow. This color would look amazing on someone with darker skin as well (say olive or possibly darker) but with some care can be worn by someone like me. I really like the quality of the Giselle products. If you've seen all the reviews, you may have guessed the fact that they sent us their whole line (and then some). The other reviewers and I have been very impressed with the quality of the Giselle cosmetics and their versatility can't be beat. I love me a bronze body and even though it's the winter I do have some Christmas things to attend that I don't want to look to ghostly. This is a nice at home product. It's got a light mist, so you don't have to be worried about it spraying out and being to robust to control. It's easy to use and pretty easy to clean up after. I find that applying in the shower it the easiest and best way to control any over sprays. I can do most of the body myself but I do need help with the back side so I volunteer the hubby to help. They do say not to rub but I do give myself a little light pat here and there when I spray too much. The color is natural and bronzy, no orange or serious fake look to the color, it lasts about 3-5 days depending on if you are exfoliating or shaving also. The one thing that isn't all that pleasant is the fragrance. It is chemically but I will put up with it for a bronze body without the sun any day! I also wanted to mention that for the money, this is a great product, I have tried others that are much more and this stands up!

I have this in peach. I love the Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks but decided to give LM a try. I am very pleased with the results. I am very fair so I need a boost to give me a healthy glow that doesn’t look fake, many bronzers are to brown for me... Well, this is fool-proof to apply. I sweep over my cheeks then dust my forehead, nose and chin, voila all done. It really warms up my complexion and gives a touch of iridescence without looking overly glowy. I am wearing daily and for evening I swipe on a little extra for an extra touch. This is very gentle on my skin; I have had no break outs even on the really warm days. I am very happy and this will surely last into the fall. If you are a fair skinned and want a boost, I recommend looking into this bloc!

I am in love with this.. I picked it up last weekend and I am floored with the results. I got it in the peach. I am very pale so bronzers end up looking very fake on me so I have to really blend them in or go with a very light shade. This bloc is a wonderful luminizer, it really gives me a nice healthy glow without looking to glowy. I find that the color compliments and adds life to my face. I am done with the winter drabs but don't to look I am tanning either. It goes on

Review- Nars Bronzing Powder

Bronzing powder is, for me (I have very a light complexion w/blond hair) a very difficult thing to use. It is usually either too dark or too heavy. This bronzing powder is very nice, I have the Laguna shade and it is thick enough that not too much comes up on the brush and matte so it just leaves the faintest impression of being out in the sun for an afternoon. I usually use it on top of my tinted moisturizer so that I don't look too powdery. My skin is on the dry side so I have to be careful not to look dried out by a lot of cover-up. It is expensive ($28 for .28oz) but I have had it for 10 months and I don't use it every day but I haven't even made a dent yet!
